Crisco (and other shortening) is 100% fat. Margarine is 80% fat + 20% water. They may sometimes act similarly, but often won't. When trying to sub shortening for margarine, reduce the quantity by 20%. Baking results can be thrown off by the substitution though, so expect problems.
