I'm a fan of VegNews. I used to subscribe to Vegetarian Times, then objected to the glossiness of it, so I subscribed to VegNews. I picked up a copy of Vegetarian Times again recently, when attracted to the cover, and it proved to be a fairly good issue, with tons of reasonably easy and delicious-looking recipes.
I've been subscribing to Vegetarian Journal since 1997, when I decided to go veg. It made my transition a lot easier! There are NO ads, but plenty of recipes, and they're ALL vegan. I highly recommend VJ.
I used to get Vegetarian Times. It's too expensive for what you get. To be honest, I didn't like any of the recipes from the magazine. I made 4 and all of them ended up in the trash. I wasn't the only one who didn't like them. Even my garbage disposal boyfriend thought they were nasty. I think I'm going to try another magazine. Plus, too many ads!
I saw vegetarian times today and it's more about cooking I think so I will go with Vegnews, thanks for your help
