I think it's disgusting. It says a lot about our society.

And we wonder why children dress too sexy. (In reference to the other thread out there.)

Question for you: why do you think the Napster ad is "classy?"

it's all disgusting really. It's really sad what advertising has come to, along with many other things in this world...

On what planet is pole dancing classy??? That's one of the sleaziest ads I've ever seen. And if there was any chance I was going to be a Napster customer, it's gone now.

Napster probably offers only some restricted amount of mainstream crap anyway.

I think it was more "classy" in the Ron Burgundy sort of way.

As in "Stay Classy, San Diego."

At least, that's the only explanation I can come up with..........

I think someone was yankin' your chain on this one though.

Yeah, the chance that I was going to become aNapster customer was pretty damn small anyway. Unfortunately, the same seems to be true of all the commercial music downloading services. If they can't offer me blind Peruvian street musicians and space music (i.e., at least the level of selection I can get via my local library and free internet radio), I'm not interested.

You're right; Napster has a crappy selection. I tried to search for some CDs before that I was interested in downloading, and they didn't even exist in Napster's library.

I won't buy a 99 cent song from them ever again, anyway.
