Aye I'd second that. I do also like kidney beans (they're my favourite bean
) - really beans are quite neutral in flavour and similar so I can't think of a bean that would taste BAD in curry, but I'd say lentils/chickpeas are the best.

Just to let you guys know I sneaked the chickpeas into the curry I made last night and even my hubby enjoyed it. also added a bit of chesew nuts.

They have a nice nutty flavour, they're my staple bean.
