Bananas are "ok." Eating too many can easily make me sick, and give me a headache. I could easily eat 4 grapefruits, 8 oranges, 3 mangos, a whole canteloupe, or a whole full-size papaya -- but 3 bananas make me feel ill. I think it is the high sulfer content. I like a few slices of banana in my fruit salad -- 2/3 of a banana maybe. That sounds like an ideal amount. Any more, and I feel ill.
A small amount to flavor breads, cakes, etcetera, is good. Large amount -- not good.
I like frozen banana deserts, flavored with other fruits, and with nut butter (NOT peanuts). Frozen bananas make me slightly less sick than fresh.
