A good giggle especially the video for # 18 - get off the frigging fence boy!
I belong to a lesser known underground tribe not mentioned in the article. We don't like to talk much about ourselves for fear that our lifestyle may end up featured on mainstream day-time TV in the US, after which our integrity will be lost forever when the masses flock to join us proclaiming, "I drink three red bulls at once and have given up fish on Sundays - I am a ******delic vegan!"
Glad to see folks admitting to being at least a little Foodie. A funny thing happened when I started to eat as dictated by my ethics - I discovered food. I like to think (plus there is evidence that suggests) that it can work both ways. Someone who tries eating a vegan diet because it's tasty/fun/healthy might wake up one day and realize the rationalizations they used to justify NOT eating vegan just don't seem quite as convincing as they did the day before.
Like most folks here I belong to multiple tribes. I don't ignore my membership in the others, but the foodie bit plays better in much of the outside world. (Better than animal loving feminist DIY straightedge guy anyway
