Please share some ideas and/or recipes for some good sides and desserts to take to a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I want to take something tasty and healthy that even the non-vegetarians will like.

I made a series on my blog since we Canadians already had our Thanksgiving.

The roasted eggplant with cornbread stuffing and mushroom gravy was particularly well recieved by my omni family:
Hope you find something to try!

This is an excellent recipe as either a side dish for Thanksgiving or as a main dish for any other night of the week. It's very easy to make also and makes a lot. You can easily skip the crispy sage and just add in about 1/2tsp of dried sage to the sauce. That's what I normally do when I make this recipe and I often leave out the pecans also and just saute some veggies on the side to go with it.
http://chefchloe.com/entrees/creamy-...ed-pecans.html
