Did you try changing the thread title? There's that bug where certain words aren't allowed in thread titles.

yeah, I tried a ton of different words<br><br><br><br>
finally got it to work <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""><br><br><br><br>
I tried this same exact thread like 3 times and it never showed up.<br><br><br><br>
nearly 20 minutes later, here it is. weird.
