Dog steps on gun, shoots US hunter in buttocks<br><br>
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) A bird hunter was shot in the buttocks after his dog stepped on a shotgun laid across the bow of a boat.<br><br>

If only firearms had some device which would prevent them from being accidentally discharged in this manner -- let's call it a "safety," because it makes the gun (relatively) safe, right? I wonder if some bright engineer could develop such a device.
