We have this horrible tent caterpillar infestation (no INVASION) on one of the trees by our apartment. Now, we live in a very forested area and I love trees.

The issue is that these bugs are going to invade other trees, they've already started taking out the juniper bush... The one they hatched in is pretty much dead...

The solution is to a) burn the dead bush or b) spray the caterpillars with soap and water, thus killing them either way...

But... aggghhh!... any humane ideas to prevent further infestations?
