I guess it looks like I'll go for a job at the health food/vegetarian store downtown next year when I'm job-searching. What about you guys? Where do you all work/ want to work as a teen job?

I've applied for a couple of jobs, one at a local bookstore and the other at a health food store. I've worked at a health food store before and it was a pretty cool place.

When I was in high school (last year), I did page design for the teen section of the newspaper, and the newspaper also paid me to be a correspondant from the county fair every summer. Neither one paid enough to really count as a job, but I loved it (although I couldn't write objectively about fairs anymore without a guilty conscience).

I work at a pet shop =) Its great. Its a really nice, clean one and the animals have big cages.

Im still in HighSchool right now but I want to be a vet one day, probably a small animal (Hamster,Rabbit,GuineaPig) vet.

I'm planning on being a vet too, I'm not sure what I want to work on yet though. But as for now I baby-sit for a neighbor. Not too many jobs in my small town, basically you baby-sit, pump gas or pick bottles on the side of the road.

That was my dream job. That's why I'm still mooching off my parents. I may have to give in (but I still won't work with food).

As of right now, I work at a steakhouse. Anyone know of any veg-friendly jobs that will hire under 16? I'm only 15 at the moment, and I need a new job. All I think when I recieve my check is: BLOOD MONEY, BLOOD MONEY.

If you are only 15 and so uncomfortable with it (I personally couldnt work there) then why not quit?

I think it would be cool to work at Subway, or some other restraunt. There really aren't much job choices around here.

My mom said she won't pay for stuff for me after I quit, besides necessities. That means no clothes (besides necessary stuff), movies, makeup, dances, etc.
