It seems as though my super mega extreme diarreaha is back with a vengeance. It's been about 6 months since my last bout.

Besides peppermint tea, what tea would you suggest to help ease my tummy?

Specific brands and flavors would be really helpful. Thanks!

Yogi Stomach Ease tea is really excellent. It has fennel, licorice, peppermint and I believe chamomile and really helps my tummy, as well as tasting good. I found it at Whole Foods, but I've also seen it at my regular grocery.

Ginger tea works really well for upset stomachs. You can make your own by thinly slicing fresh ginger root and simmering it in a pot of water for 10-20 minutes. It's spicy but quite yummy.

^^ Yep! Also, probiotics would be a good idea. Jarrow makes a great formula.

I like the idea of slicing ginger root to make tea, but I need something more portable for when I am away from home. I do take my probiotics when I remember, but I really just want some tea because it's so comforting.

Dried ginger? But I only know of polverized ginger.

Fennel and chamomille are good ideas, but most available brands tast "like hospital". So I'd rather go for something like Lumos mentioned (Yogi Stomach Ease) as it might not taste like medicine.

Fennel and lemon-balm are good suggestions for tea (and you can find them in tea-bag form), but I would certainly second the probiotics idea. Find a supplement with L. Acidophilus and it should definitely help. Hope you feel better soon!

When wifey-poo was having problems with that, she drank a LOT of looseleaf Rooibois tea and said it was the only thing that really helped.
