Ok, I admit it - I use the stuff that comes in the package, lol. I put it on the vegan morningstar farms chik strips.... its FANTASTIC for fajitas. well, I haven't had any since becoming pregnant because it has MSG in it (which I am avoiding.) Does anyone have a not-too-spicy homemade recipe for fajita/taco seasoning??? Thanks!! :)

Here is what I use:<br><br>
1TB chili powder<br><br>
1/4 tsp garlic powder<br><br>
1/4 tsp onion powder<br><br>
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper<br><br>
1/4 tsp oregano<br><br>
1 1/2 tsp cumin<br><br>
1/2 tsp paprika<br><br>
black pepper (I just grind about 5 twists in there)<br><br><br><br>
Mix together and shake on.<br><br><br><br>
I cut firm tofu into thin strips and marinate in 4 TB lime juice, 2 TB soy sauce, 2 1/2 TB olive oil, 1 tsp agave syrup (or honey) then sprinkle with the fajita shake and bake. Makes awesome fajitas.

I have some packets that say "no msg" on the front. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/huh.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":confused:">

I have made my own like spidergrrl...........but when i use the packet i get the Bearito brand, it says no msg on the front,<br><br>
i just checked a packet and it has 480 mg of sodium per serving

I usually just use salt, pepper, chili powder, and cumin.. and cook the veggies in some olive oil and garlic.

white flour wraps are garbage,refined gut bomb dough.the ground beef is crap. Bean and corn(wrap) make a hole protein. Beans and corn are it.Humans are closely related , were Human beans. Brown rice is your freind. escussion.

We don't eat ground beef. This is a vegetarian message board.<br><br>
I've heard more than once that corn is a wasteland when it comes to nutrition.<br><br><br><br>
Also when I make fajitas, I don't use tortillas. I eat it with a fork.

Death by feces. The FDA approved(news article)8% Feces(crap,dung)in ground beef.Causing deadly ecolie bacteria(kills many children every year) And contains other deadly bacteria, insectisides, pestisides, ampicilin, growth hormon,ect ect<br><br>

Okay, once again...escussion, this is a VEGETARIAN message board. WE DON'T EAT DEAD ANIMALS. Beef comes from a dead cow.<br><br><br><br>
You are missing the point of this thread. It is about SPICES & SEASONING, not beef, which was never even mentioned.

TRANS FAT OILS ARE POISON . Trans fats were approved the FDA as a cooking oil (poison) years ago. However New york outlawed it. Many outraged resturant owners. Virgin Olive oil is the best and 2nd Canolla(never burn oils)<br><br>
All hydronated oils are poison.I worked with guys who ate chips junk ect and complaned about rear end oil leaks. True story.

Brown rice is your freind, Stir fry with veg. Juiceing seperatly adds the clorifil and living enzyme so you need not fret about chomping veg all day to survive,chomp chomp chomp.(my co workers wore ear muffs),so you can relax<br><br>
and enjoy a cooked meal(I allways add canolla oil ,salt ,spice to rice while cooking)<br><br>
