What does everything about the latest rendition of Survivor? I think is shaping up to be one of my favorites so far. The conditions are harsh, like 100F, spiders and snakes, they had to clear jungle to set up camp....

How about the young hotties, stripping down for their bath time and scrubbing each other's backs I've never seen so much exposure on network tv. They fuzzed out the nipples, but that was about it. Had to send my son to my room and my wife out for ice cream The girls even have some new strategy...they are possibly planning to go around camp topless once they merge tribes with the men.

Also, its got to be embarrassing for those men. Getting beat in all the challenges except one by the women. Great job ladies!!

I've been watching it too. I thought what they should have done is once the guys were done building their uber-camp announce that the men and women were actually switching camps.

It seems hard to make those men vs. women games fair but they've done a pretty good job so far.

Great idea, you never know that could happen.

I agree the women have been so sound in the challenges. I've seen the physical emphasis kinda drift off, seems like a lot more puzzle challenges. However, that last challenge where they had to get out of cage by undoing knots and using the weapon to cut their way out. Those ladies kicked the guys asses. I think the ladies are getting stronger too. They are eating much better than the guys, catching fish (I know, not that its right, but they are trying to survive, compared to the guys who are rationed with corn meal) and they have what appears to be a higher energy level. That strong lady they put in charge is quite impressive. She has dunn a great thing delegating responsiblities and getting the ducks in a row. Now if they can just finish that shelter they are set!!

This is the first time I've watched Survivor since the first season. It's interesting to see the differences and the similarities between the male and female tribes. Some of the younger women and men are thinking with their hormones a little too much. The three girls bathing lost my support as soon as the one with the implants started talking about how they had to bathe away from the others because they didn't want to older women to be jealous of their bodies.

The challenges are set up so that they could go either way. The men are losing because they don't work as a team. I don't know how they managed to build a shelter. And regarding Joanna, the woman who refused to touch the idol, hasn't she watched the show before? I heard there was a vegetarian on another season; why would anyone want to be on a show where they might have to comprimise their beliefs?

i think the men are stupid and the women are incompetent. but that's not a gender generalization, i think the network chose stupid men and high maintenance women for that reason. the guys can't win anything and the girls can't get their s$%t together cause they're too worried about looking pretty and boiling underwear (grr)

BUT, i think it's fantastic that they have a hearing impaired contestant and i hope she goes really far. i think i like her more than most of the other women so far but i don't think the others are treating her fairly at all. they all act like it's her responsibility to keep up and know what's going on, which in a way it is, but they're not giving her a chance when they won't include her in conversations and then complain that she's not participating in something they agreed to when she wasn't able to see them talk about it. diversity is part of the game girls, learn to live with it.

grr.

Wow! Awesome episode tonight! The
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
new tribes

threw me for a loop. What a great twist! I figured there had to be something coming that next morning. It's never all good. Looks like

Heh, I thought it was interesting how that one woman was crying, too weak to go on, pleaded to be voted off... then a guy comes in and all of a sudden she has oodles of energy and not sick any longer.

There for awhile earlier on, the women were kicking the men's collective butts. I was impressed how well they had their sh1t together over the guys (rocket scientist and all). Ya gotta wonder if it was a mistake in NOT voting off that woman as she pleased. Certainly it would seem she's about to become an ally with the guy(s) now.

Thanks for the reminder, I forgot, tonight is the night. This is actually the only television show that I watch on a weekly basis, other than sports events and news. The groups appear to be quite equal now, a very interesting twist.

Yeah! I'm so happy that there is a thread about this here.

Who are your picks to win?

I like Deena (and she is from my hometown where my parents live too!) but I hope the leadership position doesn't go to her head.

I've gotta go with Rob (right?). That guy is the ultimate player. The manly woman might pull it out at the end though.

Im going with Rob too. But if he and Deena are the last two he might have problems, but then again Deena isnt making any friends on the male front. If Rob was smart he would take Matt to the end, because i dont think anyone would give Matt the million, no matter how much Rob lied to them, but then again, is it safe to be alone with Matt?

The editing is very clever. Like with Matt and the machete, or Rob talking about Sticks & Twigs. Heidi and Jenna get more repulsive by the week. They're so emaciated, you can actually see the bags of saline. Christy or Butch just might make it because they don't seem to have made any enemies.

Haha, the Godfather This year's rob reminds me of a wimpier version of him. They're both too cocky and overly manipulative.

I agree about heidi and jenna, they look gross. The "sticks and twigs" nickname is true...

I hope deena wins.

I'm not complaing, Sticks and Twigs, showing off their t*ts and pits...I love it....Their nakedness is going to take them to the final five! Rob is the man however, this guy just cracks me up. I was laughing so hard last week I was in tears.
