Shellac isn't vegetarian, it comes from bugs http://www.vegansociety.com/html/ani...on/shellac.php

Diet pills are quite dangerous(http://www.something-fishy.org/dangers/methods.php) and usually work by having a laxative, metabolism speed-up and appetite suppressant effect. A safer veggie alternative might be to try herbal teas like this one http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/cgi-...il/425124.html along with a well balanced diet to prevent over-eating.

(If you need to talk you know where I am, ok?)

I don't think diet pills are suitable for anyone - veg*an or omni. Like Dove in Gray said they are dangerous and habit forming. They're also just a quick fix. Once you stop taking the pills, you gain back all the weight you lost (and sometimes more).
