Subway has a veggie patty??? I didn't know this. Is this at all subways or just limited ones. I was just there last weekend and had I known - I would have gotten one.

Yep, it's called the Vegimax. It's actually very tasty...but I found out that it had the milk stuff in it, so...no more of that for me. ;-;

many subways do not advertise it, but if you ask they usually have it available..

man that does suck that it has milk in it.

I used to work at Subway and although they didn't advertise the veggiemax they had it on hand just in case someone asked. Personnaly I like the taste but it's awfully greasy for a microwaveable veg patty plus there is all sorts of junk in the ingredients list that I couldn't even pronounce.

I heard about this but have yet to see it. I am disappointed it is not advertised bc I am really sick of plain veggie subs when I go there.

Me too....a bunch of veggies on a roll just isn't filling for me. Too bad the veggie patty isn't vegan since Subway is one of the few places that actually has a vegan roll.

I don't mind the veggie sub too much if I am stuck out without anything to eat...I load it up with all the veggies and oil and vinegar on the Italian roll (the only vegan one, the wheat one has honey in it. ;-; )

And it's pretty tasty.

Sorry I don't remember exactly what was in it. I just remember reading the ingredients on the box and thinking that it was pretty misleading considering it was supposed to be a healthier non meat alternative.

If it's made by Morningstar Farms (and most of these seam to be) it's probably not. I'm not sure where that info came from but I wouldn't have included it if I didn't think it was from a reputable source. So if it turns out to not be vegan I apologize. But I'll let you know when I hear from them.

Oneness,

I asked the store manager at the franchise near my office to show me the package that the veggie patties came in, and I read the ingredients myself. It said nonfat dry milk.

Since Subway does have franchises under different managers, there might be variations, I guess, but the one closest to my office building (and therefore, the one I'm most likely to go to) has patties with milk in them.
