I read a review of Student's Go Vegan Cookbook in the latest issue of VegNews and thought it worthy of mentioning here. The book is supposedly easy to navigate and makes vegan cooking "accessible not only to students, but to anyone short on time and cash." Another comment is that it "proves the transition to veganism can be smooth, fun, cheap, and delicious." Sounds like a winner to me!

That is actually one of the first books I bought. I got it along with "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Vegan Living".

It does have a lot of good receipes and informatoin in it. I think it is a really handy book to have around especially for those of us who don't have a lot in our pocketbook.

The same author wrote a similair book on being a student vegetarian.

I'm asking for it for Christmas, it looks great! It will probably be my dietary bible once I leave for school.

And speaking of VegNews, this is a little off topic, but I made the Chocolate Banana Chimp Bread- to die for!

The first book I bought was 'Skinny *****'. It's a great book. I reccommend it to anyone looking to know more about the health benefits.
Sounds like an interesting book. I'll have to check it out.

I have the "Voluptuous Vegan" waiting for me at the library right now. I'm excited to check it out.
