I just learned my neighborhood is considering deer culling and there's a meeting this Sunday with the animal rights group.
I would appreciate all opinions, experience, and insights you have fighting this.
We're a small city outside of Cleveland so I can only imagine it would be limited to parks, which serve as a haven for them, as they should

I know there was a lot of protest against culling deer in Richmond Park but I wasn't involved with it - at the time I was protesting the badger cull.

Might be worth contacting the people involved for advice and support.

Just thought I might get some ideas from others. It's the first time I'll be meeting with the AR group, and from other times I've met them at other events they seem very emotionally charged. I'm based in facts and practicality
I know killing off prey animals only causes higher reproductive rates.

I read something to that effect, that hunting is actually counterproductive to population control. I'm not very knowledgeable about this subject, though. I'm sorry!

Tell them there is 7 billion + people on the planet, and what's using up more resources and taking more room.
