I'm back to my vegetarian lifestyle. (Left a little background on the "introduce yourself" section-- check it out whenever.) It's been like the third or fourth day and right now my stomach is feeling weird. I'm not sure if it's the change of diet or too many beans and tofu? Also, I've become very, uhm, "gaseous".

Right now, my stomach is making a "grrr" sound and a churning feeling. I'm not hungry, I ate. I was 12 years old the last time and I don't remember feeling this way.

Can anyone help me? Not sure what to do to make a better transition.

HAHAHA, thanks. I was actually lurking around other threads and I guess this is normal. Someone should really sticky a thread on "Warning signs-- transitioning into veg*ns" lol. It should say symptoms that may occur and things that could be done to reduce it or help the transition. That way it's not hard to miss and it reduces the repeats. Just a thought. :-D

I had that too when I started my vegetarian diet, but after two weeks it was gone, and actually my digestion has improved greatly. So don't worry too much

Two weeks!? Ahh, lol. Well, this morning it went away, I'm feeling a little weird still but I'll probably go make a blackberry with silk tofu smoothie. Hopefully, it'll help me out a little. If not I'll drink some tea later on today.

try drinking alot of water and other fluids to wash out your digestive tract. I have read that your system is cleaning up itself from all the garbage and meat you ate for years. I been doing number two alot latley since I adjusted again to this and Its cleaning out my system.

I should somewhat be used to it. I kind of grew up eating beans and I had a close friend (she's Puerto Rican) whose mom used to always make us rice and beans. It was delicious!

Changing your diet pattern will take sometime to accustom to your body. Fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts are rich in essential nutrients and detoxify your body. Once your body is set to the veggie diet, your digestion will be very good.
