Last night as i was showering, i noticed a small bump in the inside of my vagina. it doesnt hurt or itch or anything. its virtually unnoticable, so i have absolutely no idea how long it has been there.(as in 1 month of one week... i know it hasnt been there for years or anything!) should i be concerned? ive had sex once, and it was about a month ago. i feel like the odds of it being an STD are low, but im freaking out a little bit. thank you so much

honestly, i couldn't say what it could be. it could be any number of things, honestly, from a 'normal bump' to a small cyst (that may go away on it's own or not), a pimple or boil (i used to get them a lot while on my period and using disposable menstrual pads), or any number of things.<br><br><br><br>
if you are really concerned, i suggest going to a doctor--you could go to a free clinic for a free or low-cost pelvic exam without parental knowledge (i believe, as this may vary state to state).

I'd take zoebird's advice. I get pimples down there sometimes too, so it might just go away. Keep an eye on it and if it changes, make sure you go to a doctor. Even if it doesn't change, it can't hurt to have it checked out.

im on my period right now and i use disposable pads, because i dont like tampons.... do you think thats what it is a pimple? or a boil? ah that would b such a relief!

it could be those things, but i do not know what it is.<br><br><br><br>
an alternative to disposable pads are washable, cotton pads such as luna pads or <a href="http://www.gladrags.com" target="_blank">gladrags</a>. i have glad rags. i do not like tampons either.
