I have always found that Starbucks coffee especially the frappacinos are just really heavy. I always feel really bloated and slightly nauseous after finishing one. Usually I get one when I am driving a long distance and that combo is pretty leathal.

Guess I am the only starbucks junkie in here. Actually I have stopped drinking it as often... but I did break down and have one with my father. It is kinda a once a month thing we do. I cant give that up.

I'm not exactly a junkie, but I do go to Starbucks reasonably often in addition to some other coffee places that are more local.

Starbucks is the most consistent in terms of flavor, speed, and the friendliness of their employees. I don't like their decor much, but some of the local places around here that have great decor and comfy couches are mind-numblingly slow, have lousy service, and inconsistently prepared drinks.

I don't think they're the devil by any means, but I do think the other guys deserve a shot, so don't get locked in to just one choice.

That said, if Starbucks starts offering any non-dairy flavored drinks (I miss my White Chocolate Mochas, expensive though they are), it's all over for me; I'll go there every time.

I wouldn't gloat about drinking a beverage that includes milk in it, considering the atrocities of the dairy industry and the hormones involved in altering cows so they could put out an ungodly amount of milk before they're killed.

You should check the ingredients of the container the flavoring syrup comes in, my friend. I've held that sucker in my hands. There's two milk ingredients on that list, and they are the second and third ingredients.

Hey I am not vegan.. I have milk from time to time. I may not directly drink it. But I am not going to deny a one month pleasure (white mocha) because of it.

I would assume it does, but try asking. They always show me what I want to see. They're usually quite friendly at Starbucks.

BTW, if you find that it's completely dairy free, please let us know!

I never said you were vegan. But you did say the White Mocha didn't have any milk in it, so I wanted to disabuse you of that notion.
