hi guys!!!!!

got a question for ya

i eat well. very well. bit of junk here and there but mainly the stuff i love. which is wholefoods. protein, complex carbs, piles of fibre, fresh fruit and veg as well as iron supplements juuuuuust in case.

i generally get enough sleep and ive cut way back on coffee. i walk to uni and back, bout a total of an hour a day and somedays more.

i should feel great, right???

i know we all have up and down days but i seem to have more 'down' ones. sometimes i have a normal amount of energy but most of the time, im too exhausted to get anything done. at all. too exhausted by about 3pm to even read. sex life (but not love life. my boy is sweeter than that, of course) struggling for..er...obvious exhaustion reasons also. just general 'blahness'. its not depression. im happy. im motivated. i WANT to get things done but i feel so..lethargic? perhaps thats the word. i don't even know. its not even lethargic. its more..cloudy. and kinda..weak.

hmmm.

any advice??

xoxoxo

epski

thanks for the response !

the last two, definetely. the calories thing, im assuming so. i haven't lost any weight. i eat about 1900 and im fairly sedentary, and im tiny, so..that should be ample.

its mysterious. and annoying.

although im thinking maybe its lack of muscle or something? like rather than poor nutrition resulting in tired muscles, that there aren't enough to begin with? possible??

Quantity of muscle isn't related to stamina, though fitness is, and you walk a lot, so... Have you considered getting a physical and a blood test?

oh its not? oh. thanks. this is why i ask .

i walk 'a lot'? see i dont know what 'a lot' is. i would say im sedentary. with most days the only exercise i do being 1hr or so of walking . there's the odd run and boxing class etc but i don't have time at the moment. thats hardly active is it? (off topic, but just curious. and im eating enough, right? its already a squash to fit in the 1900. a lot has to come from (good) fats coz my appetite is small.

i had a blood test last year coz i was exhausted. doctor decided i had iron deficiency and started eating more iron AND taking supplement thingoes. and energy returned. temporarily. hmm.

perhaps ill just go back.

someone else suggested it was some kind of intolerance (the 'cloudy' feeling she gets when she eats wheat, hence her idea) but i have no idea what it would be? meh. odd. and really frustrating, because i like the full life that i have and collapsing (voluntarily, i mean) onto the floor (yes, not even going upstairs to the bedroom) at 7pm is tragic

Hi Taurus, so beautiful to see you here again... even if you're rather tired!

I am responding as I feel the same. Are you still underweight or are you in your 'healthy zone' now? I am still underweight and have just been assuming that's why I am exhausted so easily. I find making sure I am hydrated helps for some reason and obviously, eating enough, but whilst I'm still underweight I assume I'll not be firing on all cylinders. I am weak in general still even if I'm eating enough caloires; I can't carry heavy bags, even, and get tired very quickly. I AM anemic though and my electrolytes are still crappy I'm pretty sure (judging by how horribly I bruise and the fact I am transparently pale)

I get EXHAUSTED by trying to have sex and it doesn't help that my sex drive is really low these days- although I'm eating strawberries and zauerkraut all the time to try and counteract that! Poor boyfriend is NOT getting what he deserves in the bedroom department. So I empathise even if I can't offer much advice! Good luck!

ahaha. zauerkraut i eat piles of avocado and strawberries, just in case it helps. apparently zinc is useful too. or is that just with the boys? i dont know. ahh well.

yes im underweight (but not too much i don't think?) and im well out of the 'transparently pale' phase..thank god. the comments have been coming for months now that im glowy and have awesome skin and all that stuff. so i don't know if its that :/

think ill head to the doctors. not sure whats what.

goodluck with your bedroom dilemma. when i lack sex drive, as bad as it may sound, i feel like im missing out on a huge chunk of life. you know? not necissarily about 'doing' it, but wanting to. or ..something. hard to explain :p
