Well, Im close. but I realize that doesnt actually count lol. And I fully support all of you who are (especially the vegans!)
The thing is, I dont have the time (or effort really) to check the ingredients in every single thing that I eat. I dont want to have to refuse eating at a restaurant because they dont have vegetarian options, or to offend the boyfriend by not touching an amazing steak that he's cooked. Also, I have to admit I really like non-vegetarian food!
I do, however, try to avoid any sort of meat products whenever possible. For example I'll never buy meat for myself, and if given the choice between meat and anything else I'll 95% of the time pick the vegetarian alternative. I love soy milk and rarely have the regular kind unless it's used in baking. I only buy free-range eggs, I try to choose organic produce, and I'd say that I generally eat pretty healthily.
I belive that anything done in moderation is ok, and I hope that you'll accept my semi-vegetarian ways on your board hehe
