"If You're Not The One" I have no idea who sings it, but holy crap, it just sucks!! At work, we have to keep the radio on some light rock station (boss' orders <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=""> ) and they play this song constantly.

most covers of hippe songs piss me off, but big yellow taxi (counting crows, i think redid it) gets to me faster than most.<br><br><br><br>
also the p diddy puff daddy... w/e he calls himself, cover of roxanne... the original is annoying enough, but a hip hop/rap version... seriously!<br><br><br><br>
rap pisses me off to no end... all of it.<br><br><br><br>
that's all i can think of that i actively hate... ar least right now.<br><br><br><br><br><br>
and about weird al.... he writes parodies... that's how they should be silly and making fun of other songs. (just my opinion... feel free to go on hating weird al.)

That new annoying song from Nickelback that they play every 10 minutes on the radio! I don't know what it's called, it starts "how the hell did we wind up like this?" And that's all I know, because as soon as I hear it, I have to switch to another station.<br><br><br><br>
Actually every one of Nickelback's songs makes me want to scream. I really hate the sound of that guy's voice.<br><br><br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/whack.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":whack:">

Also, I can't stand to hear women that sing through their nose who don't sound like they had a vocal lesson one. Shakin' yo bootay nowadays gets you paid.

I don't know what it's called but the one where all the men sing, "It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes." And the women reply "It's getting so hot, I'm gonna take my clothes off."<br><br><br><br>
Damnit, I hate that song.<br><br><br><br>
That and the thong song, and Dirty by Christina Aguillera (especially when combined with the video).

Anything by 112 (I hate that guy's voice - Slim?), Kid Rock, Puff Diddly, Nickelback (it's not like you to say surry), limpbizkit (durst, anyone? - ok, except Nookie)...I'm sure there are many and they vary. Right now it would be I Gotta Get Thru This by ? Bedingfield (or whatever).

"Sex Bomb" by Tom Jones. A man in his midlife crisis singing those lyrics...</div>

That song is dreadful indeed...<br><br><br><br>
My pick would be "Looking For Freedom" (or basically anything) by David Hasselhoff. His lyrical brilliance is unmatched. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/wink3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=";)"> Who else can come up with phrases like "Worked on a farm, got some muscle in my arm". or "walking down the road, with my heavy load".

Though I do understand why some people can't stand listening to Björk, she definately is talented the way I see it. The music is often *highly* creative and sets a wonderful atmosphere. I for one can feel a lot more (honest) emotion in Björks music than I can find in the vast majority of mainstream music. Apart from that I reckon that she has an exquisite voice, even though she often uses it in a way that can turn alot of people of. Lyrically I have to agree it isn't that fantastic, but in that department I've also seen efforts that are alot weaker...

oh i agree she's very creative.... sort "free form".... we studied a lot of modern classical composers like that in school. i don't like many of them. she reminds me of that. plus i think her voice sounds whiny. and like she's trying to sound really young. i don't know, she just bugs the hell out of me.

97% of cover versions make my flesh crawl, especially when the original was bloomin awful in the first place (one example being the theme song to the new Huge Grunt film Love Actually, a shoddy reworking by one of Loki's faves Girls Aloud of the Pointers Sisters Jump (For My Love) hopefully it was just a bad dream..)<br><br><br><br>
J(e)llo. Man if there was ever someoine who needed another (metaphorically speaking) beating with the arrogant stick, its her. When I listen to the radio I have to sit with one hand on the channel button, so I can switch ASAP. Jelly from the hood? The only hood she'd be seen in would be made by Prada.

It might have been mentioned already, but "Who Let the Dogs Out" can honestly ruin a perfectly good day for me. That song is so goddamn annoying, I don't think it's humanly possible to top it, except maybe by the single those dipsh*ts released after that one.<br><br><br><br>
Ugh, that Bjork comment hurt; I'm weeping. If I get your name again for Secret Santa this year, VealPrincess, no gift for you! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/tongue3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":p">

lol. That has got to be the worst song ever made. Luckily I've only heard it twice, but two times was still too much.<br><br><br><br>
50 Cent makes my skin crawl. And all my students <i>love</i> him and rap his<br><br>
lyrics as they come in my door, so even though I don't listen to his stuff, I know just about every word of every one of his raps. Thppt. G Unit. Blech.
