I looked around and couldn't find a thread like this. I thought it would be a neat idea to start this as I'm always looking for new bands to listen to.

John Mayer's new cd "continuum" showed up today. I'm signed up over at http://www.yourmusic.com They send me a cd from my list once a month. So far, it sounds pretty good.

So, what songs/cd's have you bought lately?

The new Spock's Beard album 'Spock's Beard' (Self Titled). I've bought most of the DragonBall Z hit song colections (Japanese music). I'm also waiting for my Halo and LocoRoco soundtracks to arrive.

I just sent an order to my music club, they are Supergrass- Road to Rouen, Oasis - Definatey Maybe, and The Verve - Northern Soul.

I asked my BF for some albums for my B-day and Xmas, as well, these were The Strokes - First Impressions of Earth, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Take Me On, on Your Own, The New Pornographers - Mass Romantic, and The Minders - It's a Bright Guilty World.

I plan on getting some more titles soon, by Bayside and Dilated Peoples.

I don't buy many CDS, basically because I don't listen to much music anymore, which is pathetic, isn't it?

These are the ones I bought in the past couple of years.

Pink: I'm Not Dead

Dixie Chicks: Taking the Long Way

Saint-Saëns: Concertos

Ray Charles: Genius Loves Company

Natalie Cole: Greatest Hits Vol. 1

John Fogerty: Deja Vu All Over Again

John Fogerty: Blue Moon Swamp

The O Brother Where Art Thou? Soundtrack

Bedouin Soundclash - Sounding A Mosaic (I saw them live last year and kept meaning to get it but I was too cheapskate and kept getting outbid on Ebay!)

Smashing Pumpkins - Pisces Iscariot and Billy Corgan - The Future Embrace

Something tells me there will be more Pumpkins on this list soon - I love them dammit!

Oh and I didn't buy it but I got this free tape with some Irish folk songs and a band called the Blaggers...and I like it!

4. The New Pornographers - Electric Version

5. The Sounds - Dying To Say This To You

6. OK Go - OK Go

7. The Start - Death Via Satellite

8. The Start - Shakedown

9. Francine - Forty On A Fall Day

10. Morningwood - Morningwood

I plan on visiting the used CD store today to get another CD.

Begin to Hope- Regina Spektor

9- Damien Rice

Best of Ray Charles

Best of The Carter Family

I also bought a CD of the Dewayn Brothers, a band I've opened for. They're like bluegrass and punk made a baby. It's awesome. You can find them on Google.

And when I get paid I'm going to buy music from Madeline. Folkish. www.madelinesongs.com
