so I have this tofu block sitting in my fridge my mom bought me yesterday, its just a plain block in a wrapping soaked in water, but how do i eat it?

depends on which one you're making (those 4 listed are only categories, not recipes). Serve it on toast or a roll or bread, or just plain, and with maybe some rice and a salad or veggie.

Just a hint...freezing tofu solid and then thawing it changes the texture quite a bit...don't be afraid to experiment! Most of us remember well staring down that first block of tofu. All the best...Ric

I like to make BBQ tofu by just pressing the tofu and cutting it into triangles, covering it in kraft traditional BBQ sauce (peta says its vegan!)<br><br><br><br><a href="http://www.peta.org/accidentallyVegan/VeganShoppingQS-Condiments.asp?Category=Condiments" target="_blank">http://www.peta.org/accidentallyVega...ory=Condiments</a><br><br><br><br>
and then bake it for 40 minutes at 350. I serve it with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob, so it takes the place of baked BBQ chicken. Its one of our favorite (and easiest) comfort food dishes.
