It's not that big a deal, Adam. Like we've talked about, we all make mistakes sometimes. You can eat it, or give it a friend. I'd opt for giving it to a friend, 'cos that way it might displace a bit of other food gained through exploitation from their diet, whereas if you eat it it's replacing vegan food in your own diet. We're talking half a box of cereal at this point, though; it's not that big a deal.

This is also something you can do.
We've returned a partially-eaten chocolate bar. It was one of those Lindt dark chocolate bars... I happened to look at the ingredients list while eating it (it wasn't me that had picked it out at the store), and noticed it. Brought it back, it was no problem.
They'll probably throw it out, as has been said, but at least this way if she store is returning the product, on the computers, it won't count as a sale anymore.
Though personally I'd opt for being honest about why you're bringing it back. Why make something up? I'd say, "I'm against animal exploitation so I don't eat animal products. This has honey in it." or something to that effect.
