You're going to make many more mistakes like this. Despite carefully reading the ingredients, you are going to purchase items with ingredients you do not want.
It's nice to have a friend, family member, neighbor, or co-worker you can give this stuff to. I'm sure there's even someone you know who would be willing to accept an opened and already half consumed product... I'm always after free food myself.
The easiest solution, opened product or not, is to just leave it in the company breakroom with a little sign that says "FREE." It'll be gone in less than ten minutes.

Eating the item is totally up to you. Each person has a "line" recarding what's okay and what's not. I think the wrong has already been done by purchasing it. Personally, I'd go ahead and eat an item that had very tiny amounts of money or trace dairy... But I just couldn't bring myself to eat something I discovered was flavored with lard, bacon, or was composed of mostly egg or dairy. I'd have to give that away or feed it to the dogs...yuck!
