That's the Chili Peppers for ya. They often don't make a lot of sense. 
I think I must get their new album. I've been hearing a single on the radio that I like, too. It's not this track, is it? I'm pretty sure it's different, although I can't think how it goes right now. Wow, and it's a double album. I had no idea. I LOVE By The Way, and sounds like they're still going strong.

There songs make lots of sense, you just have to listen, and have some life experiences. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to toot my horn but, their songs express alot.

I can't help if their songs don't make any sense. But I do find it kind of funny that you're listening to a band that's overtly homosexual in so many ways. okay... they are most definately not gay. 
john has made references to having girlfriends in several interviews, flea has a daughter, anthony has written several songs partaining to heterosexuality(save the population, just in the last year or so). and chad...well if anybody was gonna be gay, it wouldnt be him(but i saw them live and he was wearing a pink painters suit type thing)... 
by the way, im sure there are better things that would make them gay than one video...ie performing in socks? 
and i have no news about the new cd, but it would be appreciated, and i would definately buy it

i love RHCP. to me at least, its not so much the lyrics dont make sense, its that you can't understand them because they sing really fast and words run together.

No, I just found it funny in light of earlier (since deleted) anti-gay comments made by the OP. They are a homoerotic band (which is cool with me, of course).

My department has the company's luxury box for their Rose Garden show on the 11th so we will be attending that.
