So.. i'm a snack food junkie. I try to be good by eating fruit for snacks, but it seems like once the weekend hits, it's a snack frenzy. I love snacks!

I'm curious about what people like to snack on (food only, please - heh). I usually go for something *salty* like potato or tortilla chips, or salted cashews & almonds (mmmmmm). I am addicted to potato chips.
which is probably why I will *never* be a pasty, skinny vegan. That, and beer.


So... what do you guys like? Do you go for sugar or salt?

sugar, defenately. I eat fruit and/or cereal with soymilk almost all the time for snacks. I guess I'm not really a salty guy...

It depends on my mood...sometimes when I'm in a salty mood I love salt n' viniger chips.

When I am in a sugar mood, I am a cookie monster.


Lately, I have been making my own muffins and this yummy thing called a grape nut bar (recipie off of vegweb). This things are defintly better for me than chips and cookies, but sometimes you just have to go for the non-healthy things.

My morning snack is PB sandwich crackers (those 25 cents/packet kind). But I never eat anything that contain fat for afternoon snack b/c fat weighs me down when I work out. fruits is my 3pm fix. Later night? hehe.....anything but healthy stuff

Mostly lately, I have been a fruit junkie for snacks. Also depends on my mood, I love salty things, soy nuts are great.. but I also need sweet from time to time, and I turn to Chocolate for that fix.

lately i can't handle sweet stuff...in the past few months i've totally lost my taste for chocolate. the sweetest thing i can eat is fruit, which i have every day.

however, my sweet snacks have been replaced by salty carbs...lately i've constantly been craving potato chips, pretzels, etc, stuff i never really cared about before. go figure.

Salt! Tortilla chips all the way (w/ guac, salsa, bean dip, whatever)... I also love cashews, almonds, peanuts, pistacios, walnuts, etc.

Yummy- potato chips, veggie chips, crackers w/ peanut butter and jelly, cake, cookies, soy dreams butter pecan *sigh*, mango, watermelon, nearly any fruit except pears, as a matter of fact I'm eating a waterelon right now lol

Well, let me see....my all time favorite snack is plain unadulterated potato chips, followed by (in no particular order) various flavored potato chips, hard cheezies, tortilla chips with melted cheese, sour cream, salsa, etc (except I rarely eat cheese or sour cream). If I can have a few cookies thrown in to the mixture to mx up the sweet and salty even better. Of course in a woman of my age this stuff skips the digestive tract and lodges immediately on the stomach or hips in the form of fat!!!!
