Here are some pictures of me! Some of them are a little old, and I don't think any of them are more recent than last summer.

The first two times I tried to post this, it told me the file was too big. Let's see if it will work now. This picture was taken last summer sometime. I have a yellow headband around my head, and I'm standing by the guy in blue. That guy is my now ex bf.

Oh joy, its really blurry. Any suggestions before I post more? In order to get the file small enough, I had to really cut back on the quality.

Wow..he was way taller than you. That's a cool pic 'cept for I had to look at it sideways. Different, but different is good

ETA - I'm not sure about the quality. You know, you could just add them to the photo gallery. I believe that will let you add a larger file size than including an attachment to a post.

Yeah, since I email them to Michael to submit them to the gallery, right? What's his current email address?

Thanks I think I'll look into that. I was surprised that it was so big on here since it looked small when I looked at it before.

If you have PhotoShop, just pull the image into that.

1. Go to Image > Rotate Canvas > 90 CW

2. Image -> Image Size -> 400 pixels wide

3. File -> Save for Web > set the jpg quality to 6 or 7

PhotoShop 7 rocks, although its not exactly cheap.

Nope, you can submit them right in the gallery yourself

Oh, duh, yeah, I knew that. I have, like, decades of experience here.

I don't have PhotoShop as far as I know. I was using AppleWorks Paintings to clip the photo for the avatar. I'm not sure exactly what the default program was on the scanner, but it was probably some function of AppleWorks. Do you know much about Macs?

Well, PhotoShop is actually one of the programs that solidified MAC's position in the professional publishing arena (along with Quark, PageMaker, Illustrator and FrameMaker primarily). My experience with MAC puters is very limited, and I have not owned one for several years. Having said that, I am pretty certain my next puter will be a MAC.

Microsoft seems to release Alpha class software, or at best, Beta class software. MAC's new operating system is based on *nix which I find impressive. Windows XP and the ridiculousness involved with that OS pretty much has me convinced to jump ship from Microsoft altogether.

I did a quick search for PhotoShop on my computer, and unless it has some psuedonyms I don't know about, I don't have it.

I've used Macs all my life and had to learn to adjust to PCs three years ago when I started college. I still hate transferring files back and forth between the two types of OSes.

You can send them to [email protected] or as MsRuthieB said you can upload them yourself. Just go into the appropriate gallery and there's a link in the upper right corner for adding pictures. Be sure you post the description in the picture thread in the Community Assistance forum.

You would probably know it if you had Photoshop - it's pretty expensive.

Are you sure that's not a set background? It looks so perfect! I could hardly see what he looks like, but oh well. Nice ballcap.

In the picture I posted I probably look even shorter than the ex bf than I really am. He's 9 inches taller than me, I think in the pic I was standing up against the wall leaning on it, and he was closer to the camera.

If you can send me the original large file, by email, I might be able to shrink it in a way that produces a clearer 3x4, or even a larger picture.

It will help to get the colors better if you tell me what the original colors were supposed to be. What color is the wall behind you, for instance? Everyone's clothing?

*chuckles* He's not that massive. He's 6"3, and I'm 5"4. Oops did I say 9 inch difference before? I meant 11 inches apart.

Soilman,

The wall behind me has red and white plaid stripes. I wallpapered it myself; aren't you impressed? I'm wearing a black shirt, yellow-orange-green-red striped skirt, and a yellow headband. The ex is wearing a light blue shirt and blue jeans.

Let's see if this picture works. I would have included the entire picture, but I didn't think y'all were that interested in seeing my whole family. Now I could be wrong, of course.
