Silk now has Silk Live Soy Yogurt (not the drinkable smoothie stuff).

My local co-op stopped carrying Wildwood soy yogurt, and I was heart-broken, since it was the only brand that actually tasted like yogurt. So when I saw Silk Live in the co-op yesterday, I thought I'd give it a try.

It still isn't as good, IMO, as the Wildwood yogurt, but at least it has that sharp bite that yogurt is supposed to have, and it doesn't seem as grainy. I still think they put WAY too much sugar in it, but it is a vast improvement over resular Silk yogurt, which I think is nasty.

I like all of the pink flavors (strawberry, raspberry, black cherry) the peach and vanilla aren't so good. I also like the Live smoothies.

I just bought some of this the other day. I like the vanilla flavor. I don't buy fruit flavored yogurt because I like to add my own.

I'll say the same thing I said when I was 8 years old.

"Ewwww.... yogurt!!!"

I've tried yogurt several times over the years, both the dairy version, and more recently the Silk soy stuff, and I just can't stand the taste of it. It just amazes me how many people like this stuff.

On the up side, I think this means that Silk has succeeded in making yogurt that tastes just like the dairy version, for those of you who want that.
