I'd thought about trying a no-pull harness but haven't done it yet. I used a halti for a while which helped with the pulling some, but my female husky is so other animal aggressive, I didn't feel like I had enough control with it. It doesn't matter how good of treats I have, she'd rather attack the other critter. She's getting much better with that though. The halti worked pretty well for my male husky though.<br><br><br><br>
Now for the huskies I've been using the double collar like Cesar Millan uses. His aren't available yet I don't think but I got them from a place called Misty Pines. I also got a dog back pack for my female. She's half the size of my male but pulls twice as hard. That helps a lot, makes her work at carrying it instead of trying to pull me, but we get odd looks from people driving by. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/tongue3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="

I also used clicker training on both of them separately which actually went pretty well, but I usually walk them together and when they're together, they become a sled team and all they learned with clicker training goes out the window. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/tongue3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="

Yea, I saw the collar that Cesar Milan uses on the dog whisperer website. I would buy one but they aren't available yet as you said, and they are expensive! Thanks for the links.<br><br><br><br>
Did you read Cesar's way? In his book he mentions giving the dog a backpack so she can have a "job."<br><br><br><br>
My female husky is also VERY other animal aggressive. She actually killed my baby rabbit, killed 8 huge fish out of a pond type thing, has killed many birds, mice, rats, and even a mole <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/undecided.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":-/"> . I'm sure if I let her get close to any cat except ours, she would kill it too. She is also becoming slightly dog aggressive. I am having many problems with her!<br><br><br><br>
When I walk her with my other dog who isn't even a husky, they become a team like you say, and she competes to walk in front of the other one.<br><br><br><br>
I am taking her to petsmart on Saturday, so I will look at a Halti and the no pull harness. If I don't get results from either, I will buy the double collar. She might get out of the Halti though, if she sees some prey animal. You must either be really stong or have someone else helping you to walk two of these creatures! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/tongue3.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="

"> They are such beautiful dogs and so loving, but sometimes they have issues! Thanks for your help!
