So, there's the Food Porn thread for extremely decadent and delicious foods. But what are the simple but shameful veg*n foods that you eat in large quantities when you're the last one up sitting on the couch vegetating and no one else is around to watch and judge? I'll start:<br><br><br><br>
-Hummus. Must be eaten from the storage container with a spoon for proper effect.<br><br>
-Vegan Ice Cream. Best if you're finishing off a container because no one wants to wash a bowl at midnight.<br><br>
-Chocolate Sauce. Use a spoon. Or drink it if it's thin enough.<br><br>
-Peanut Butter. See <a href="http://www.veggieboards.com/boards/showthread.php?113861-Help!-Addicted-to-Peanut-Butter!!!&highlight=peanut+butter+support" target="_blank">Peanut Butter Thread</a> for details.<br><br>
-Cinnamon Sugar. Only if cinnamon toast has been made earlier in the day. Can also be eaten with a spoon.<br><br>
-Also, if you're eating chips or crackers, there's no better bowl than your stomach. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)"><br><br><br><br>

I eat a pound of spinach or romaine leaves just sitting on the couch at night.<br><br><br><br>
sooooo bad!!! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/blush.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":eek:"><br><br><br><br>
Sometimes a whole pineapple and container of blueberries but that's usually earlier in the day.

I don't know, I don't really like the idea of "shameful" foods - although if I had to pick I'd say any dairy, in part because at one point I ate so much of it, and now, knowing what I know, I try to limit my intake to an occasional treat.

Wine. Lots of cheap, classless white zinfandel. My mother swears I have no taste whatsoever and must have been switched at birth with someone else's child every time I break it out.

Toasted "Dave's Killer Bread" with enough margarine to make it soggy...<br><br><br><br>
OR an entire pound or more of baby arugula, eaten with my hands, out of the bag like chips. I must have some serious deficiency because any time I get arugula I INHALE the entire container plain without doing anything to it. No control whatsoever. (At least it's just greens, right?)

Chips, corn chips, popcorn, crackers with dip - I can get through a shameful amount of those at any time <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)">

Also don't forget the jam (with a spoon). You can still have PBJ with just a spoon. Or PB and chocolate spread too. Mmm....

Hummus is a biggie for me right now as well. I also love bread as I usually bake it on weekend evenings so my home smells like bread I'm watching tv late at night and tempts me...ugh! Self-sabotage really.

Geez, I wish I had the problem of eating a whole bag of spinach or arugala! And plain?!<br><br><br><br>
I go through phases, I don't really have a certain food that always gets to me or that I eat large quantities of all the time. Pretzels, cookies, veggies with hummus, popcorn, a spoonful of dark chocolate peanut butter, peanut butter on a cracker. It really varies. What's bad is when I eat one thing, I'm not satisfied, so I have something else, and so on... so a little bit of everything instead of a lot of one thing.

At least it's not super simple to make/have. Unless you make banana bread all the time and then there's a problem.
