I like buying the un-roasted kind from Asian markets. If I need roasted/toasted sesame seeds, I'll do it myself in a frying pan and get a better flavor.

I LOVE adding 1/2 cup of plain white sesame seeds to the dough of home made bread. Why is it standard to just sprinkle them on the outside??? They are lovely inside the bread!

Also, at Indian Groceries you can get a sesame seed version of peanut brittle. Its very sweet. Its just a bunch of sesame seeds all stuck together with hardened sugar. Yum!!! You can also buy tiny bars of this at health food stores for a higher price.
