Yeah, I'm with you. I've been 'vegan' intellectually for the last 12-13 years, in practice for the last 2 years this time around, and dairy free for about 10, but I just eat too much d*mn vegan junk food and oil. I know better, I really really do, but I have issues with food, as they say. I hate being a cliche. Sure, part of me wants to become healthy and maintain a healthy weight, but part of me doesn't want to change. I'm sure that is hard to understand for many people - that an obese person at some level could want to stay fat and ugly - but it's true for me.
So anyway, yes. Count me in. I haven't found the magical thinking that will turn myself around yet, but I'm slowly working on it. I just hope it won't take a heart attack to make me change.
I'm transitioning to vegan and as of now I've given up milk, eggs and cheese (I have yet to give up certain foods containing these products). I need to lose about 50 or 60 lbs...not quite sure I just want to fit into my old clothes. If you want to start PMing to share success stories, for motivation, etc. let me know. Peace & Love and Good Luck!!
