Someone came up with the idea of creating a logon, similar to Secret Santa, that people could use to post as a secret admirer for Valentine's Day. I hope to do this sometime in the next few days. Stay tuned...

Umm, soilman does not understand what what a "logon," a "Secret Santa" or a "secret admirer" is, in the context these terms are being used in this thread, or what any of these have to do with Valentine's Day, which is not indicated as being a bona-fide US holiday, on his calander, and therefore he does not know when it is.<br><br><br><br>
Also, soilman believes you keep secrets from your enemies, and if you are keeping a secret from someone, you must be intending to defeat them.<br><br><br><br>
Also, I was able to post a message in this thread, after logging on as soilman; I did not need to log on as "secret admirer"

OK. Soilman had figured out, after hours of mulling it over, that he could log in as "secret admirer" if he first shut off cookies, in his browser, so that he would not be logged in automatically as soilman. Now that he is logged in as "secret admirer" -- it isn't like his ip number has changed it is still the same number. So anything soilman says to anyone in the guise of "secret admirer" will be traceable to soilman, by anyone with administrative access to veggieboards. I'm afraid soilman is still as puzzled as ever.

Perhaps soilman or anyone else who wants to use the Secret Admirer persona should use a library or other public access computer that s/he does not normally use when visiting VB.
