I just completed registration. I was looking for a way to prepare cornbread without eggs and

saw the link to this site on Google. I gave up meat 4 years ago; and, after trying

Soy cheese, I gave up animal products completely. I don't miss eggs or cheese one bit.

This was a result of my doctor suggesting that I lower cholesterol. I've heard too many horror stories about pills to lower cholesterol and my doctor suggested a nutritionist. Following the advice from the nutritionist, my cholesterol went from 219 to 41, and my waist went from 38" to 32," all done without pills. My nutritionist is a protoge of Dr. Dean Ornish in

San Francisco, CA. Unfortunately, I no longer live in San Francisco, I live in El Paso, TX which is very cholesterol-friendly. There are no vegetarian restaurants here, but I am a great cook.

If I remember right, I just use ENER-G egg replacer for the cornbread and it works great. Ground flaxseed would work too.
