I passed through Ashland this past Sunday and was able to check out this place. Along the way, in the mountains just south of the OR border, I encountered a brief but earnest raining down of ice from the skies, so those wont to pun would say that I went through hail to bring you this report.

I didn't have an address and Verizon's 411 didn't have a phone number, but I sought out Lithia Park, and with the hints given in the article was able to find them, right along the street leading into Lithia Park - which seemed to be the site of a popular Shakespeare festival. The address turns out to be 85 Winburn Way and the phone (541?) 482 2003.

The menu includes a small number of ovo-lacto and vegan cooked items as well as familiar sorts of raw foods. Additional daily items were listed on two chalkboards. I had a tomato soup, red bell pepper boat, salad, and fig treat, all raw. The selections are relatively pricey for the amount you get, which is perhaps to be expected given the offerings of Chaco Canyon. Service and seating are in an open area that's mostly covered.
