Hello,<br>
I joined earlier this year, introducing myself as a vegetarian struggling with an eating disorder. I've been so wrapped up in recovering that I never really participated in discussions. Nonetheless, here I was encouraged to go vegan, and so I did lots of research(Earthlings was so overwhelming!) and transitioned faster than I initially intended. At first I was worried it might fuel my eating disorder, but it did quite the opposite. I feel healthier, happier, and I gained some much needed weight. I had one slip up where I knowingly ate something with honey, but that was on one of my bad days, and I felt quite bad about it afterwards, but as I'm learning from recovery, the past is the past. I can't let one slip up be the end of the world. I just wanted to say thanks, and I hope that I can now participate in this community more often.
