Oh you guys are FUNNY! I thought everyone had salad - or at least carrots and celery with dip at Thanksgiving?

This does thicken upon standing. If you can't wait (who can?) just use less soymilk.

Also, I discovered this last night...

Do not make this and leave unattended near teenagers.

They will eat it with spoons, like soup. :p

I always have salad and carrots & celery and jicama!

OOOO I can't let my niece know about the "ranch soup"...she'd be all over it!

Seriously, I love this recipe and I say a thank you to you every time I make it...which is quite often!

I just made this to dip some veggies in and it's really good! Tastes just like the real thing to me.

I left out some things out to tailor it to my tastes (the black pepper, parsley and additional salt since I was already using celery seed and salt and don't like things very salty) and blended mine in my Magic Bullet because I was lazy and didn't want to shake it (plus I wanted to make the bits of green onion smaller).

I'm so glad I have this recipe. I normally take ranch dressing and veggies as a snack to my summer job and since I went vegan I needed something to replace it with.

Last week I made some "ranch" dressing from another website I found. It was bleh. I HATED it. Although, I was a ranch connoisseur back in my non vegan days (which was about a month ago
) I am going to a pool party for my work on Sunday so I'm thinking about bringing some yummy vegan chips with dip and I will try this recipe! I shall tell you all how I like it once I make it. :]

I took this in a small bottle, to a BBQ the other day, because I knew they'd have a large veggie and dip platter and I could just use it for my veggies.... I left it on our table to go get more food and the man next to me "borrowed" it (thinking the host had provided it).

I didn't say anything, figuring he might not notice the difference. But he KEPT USING IT and then went to find the host and COMPLAIN when he "ran out of the REALLY GOOD RANCH DRESSING" and couldn't find any more of it on the main table. Teehee!

this recipe was DELICIOUS! thanks for posting! i can't believe i just made vegan ranch dressing!!!

i found it to be thinner than i prefer my ranch dressing to be, so next time i will add the milk last, a few tbsp at a time until i reach my desired consistency. maybe because i used rice milk?

great flavor! was dipping everything i could find in it!
