I came across this rant just posted today and I had to share it with you. I'm a vegetarian with some time now and I usually hear about people complaining about how vegetarians supposedly think they're better.<br><br><br><br>

[Side note (and this really needs to be cleared up): The reason PeTA buys shares of McDonald's is so they can put a stockholder proposal in the company proxy statement. They're not buying shares as investors, they're buying them as an AR org (and they typically do not buy many shares). They also do this with Phillip Morris (now Altria) and others. Not to excuse the fellow he was quoting, but people like this author are the reason that people like that guy hate vegetarians. I don't much like being hated, especially when I haven't done anything to anybody.
