American Idol because it cracks me up
The only reality shows I watch are the home improvement/decorating ones, also. (but not the makeover ones, because the hosts irritate me.) I am addicted to Changing Rooms and Trading Spaces, and will also watch While You Were Out, Room Rivals and Garden Rivals, Ground Force, etc.
I've never seen Survivor! I watched the last five minutes of it, once, to kill time waiting for a program that was on after it. I wasn't hooked. And I've never seen even a minute of American Idol. If I knew when it was on, I might check it out just to see what the fuss is about, but I'm sure I woudn't get hooked into it, either. Any show where people are habitually mean to other people is just not my thing.

Verbivore, Clay Aitken sang the national anthem and also there was a Clay Aitken bobblehead night at UNC-Charlotte's basketball game this past weekend. Check on ebay if you want one, if I had gone I would have picked one up for you.
As far as reality shows go, I'm hooked on Survivor. My favorite character so far has been Rob Cesterino from the season before last. He cracked me up, and I can't wait for the All Stars season coming soon!

I really like watching adventure racing. I don't know if thats considered 'reality' in the terms that we are refering to in this thread although it is certaintly real. Those people on that show really motivate me on those days when I don't feel like going out to run!

I like the decorating shows but, there are so many of them now that it has gotten old. I sill like Trading spaces. I think it is so funny if they hate the room and start to cry. While you where out is cute. I kinda want my DH to pull one on my when we have a house.
I use to like Real world before it was all about sex.
The funniest thing was Joe Schmoe. Those challenges where crazy. I swear I almost peed myself so many times.

Hah theres a new one on TV here.I like NZ shows they are so... sorta mocking of American ones...
We had a thing called "Treasure Island" its just like Survivor (And we've had like 5 series's too.. haha), but yeah every week you'd see the people on it with contraband.. like chocolate, make-up etc..
It's not as serious here so its great.. I like the new programme we have here called "Captive" again there aren't really any strict rules.. but its SORT of like Big Brother. Cept there aren't anywhere near as many cameras, and its got a quiz for the contestants for most of the show, so it isn't as boring.
I'm definately going to watch NZ idol when it comes on cause I know someone entering, and I know she got into call backs!

I used to like Road Rules and Real World. I think I got burned out on them, though. I hate those kind of reality shows now.
I do like American Idol, the home improvement shows, and the makeover shows. They're interesting and I have learned things from them.

There´s a show on German TV, which is widely discussed: "I´m a star, get me out of here", somewhere in the rainforest near Brisbane. Did anyone see this in other countries? What has been the reaction?
