just occurred to me, as I sit here eating raw spinach as the lettuce on my sandwich (yum!), is the whole don't-eat-raw-spinach thing over? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/worried.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":worried:">

Good stuff! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smiley.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title=":)"> I was hoping they wouldn't be selling it if it was still an issue, LOL. I do remember hearing something about them finding the farm(s) the tainted spinach came from.<br><br><br><br>
Thanks! That was a TASTY sandwich... spicy mustard, thick old slices of tomato, baby spinach... finishing up the sides now(distracted with little ones who won't stay in their own beds)

Amy, I don't see it in my LOCAL grocery store. I found this batch at Whole Foods. (I did look at the normal grocery chain and didn't see it, so I grabbed it at WF when I saw it there on my Tofutti purchase trip)

it is pretty funny tho, I heard the reason the spinache was tainted was because they had let pigs roam through the vegetable patch.

If you can get Canadian spinach where you are, that's always been fine. I noticed that during the scare, all the bags of spinach made in Canada had a big "Made in Canada" sticker put on them.
