Hey guys Hope you're all having a lovely 2012 so far. I revised my other raw brownie recipe by adding some creamy homemade raw chocolate frosting.<br><br>
I highly recommend these brownies...but I have to keep them hidden so we don't eat them too quickly. However, they are dense and full of rich flavour, so it's hard to eat a lot at a time any way. Ingredients<br><br>
Brownie Mixture<br><br>
2 cups Almond Meal (Can use 1 cup Almond Meal, 1 cup ground Cashews)<br>
1 cup Cacao Powder<br>
3 1/2 cups Pitted Dates<br>
1/2 cup Jungle Peanuts (can use regular peanuts)<br>
Pinch of pink sea salt<br><br>
Icing<br><br>
1/3 cup Soaked Dates<br>
1/4 cup Yacon/other liquid sweetener<br>
1/2 cup Ripe Avocado<br>
1/3 cup Cacao powder<br>
Optional Garnish:<br><br>
Raw Cacao Nibs<br>
Shredded Coconut<br><br>
