Protagonist/Mac to Goo: You get protein from nuts and you don't need any more nuts because you ARE nuts!.

So maybe they just threw in for a pun but then I'm thinking I wonder if this cartoon is pro veg. I mean you'd think typically they'd say something like protein comes from meat.
