Is anyone else a fan of Rancho Gordo heirloom beans? I've been a little obsessed with them ever since I found them. They're pricey, but they are sooo flavorful. I think I could happily live off their Good Mother Stallard beans. They're nothing like the dry beans I find at my local grocery store. The only drag is that their delivery fee is a set price of $8 anywhere within the US, so it's expensive if you only want to order a pound or so. I rounded up a couple of friends and we placed our order together to bring the delivery cost down.

Just wondering if anyone else is a fan.

Just joined their bean club. First shipment arrived Friday. Today I made a pot of Cranberry beans. Outstanding! Just the beans, some Black Garlic and Aztec Sea Salt.

I'm really looking forward to trying the rest of these Heirloom beans.

I also read both of Steve Sando's books about heirloom beans. Both are really good reads. (My wife thinks I'm nuts reading books about beans ;) )
