So I just smoke my last cigarette.
This will be the 3rd time I stop smoking. (and the last time, I hope)
I thought of opening a thread for support.
Maybe it can reach out to other smokers in this community.
Anyone here tried to quit smoking? tell us your story maybe it could help people like me.

I have stopped smoking 2 years ago, and I really did it cold turkey. I just quit smoking and never looked back, and I am sorry to say, there is no easier way. Even one cigarette will open the gate to addiction again.

Congratulation on that
I know there is no easy way. I'm in for a battle everyday for at least the next 6 months.
I came prepared though: have my nicotine patches (they helped me a lot quit for 2 months), my nicotines gums, my motivational text printed, my reasons listed on a paper, and a stress ball.
I NEED to quit smoking. It's giving me bad gaging reflex and nausea constantly, and it makes me shake sometimes.
It was just my stress reliever through all my teen years and I guess cigarettes became familiar to me in rough times.
I need to find a constructive thing to do, something Good for me, when I'm under stress instead of destroying my health.
What helped you take your mind off your cravings?

Quitting smoking can be the most powerful thing you can do for yourself.
