Quick and Easy BBQ Beans and Corn

Suitable for a: vegan diet



1/2 red onion, chopped

1 red bell pepper

1 (14-ounce) can black beans

1 (14-ounce) can of corn

1/4 cup(or more to your liking) of your favorite BBQ sauce

about a tablespoon of oil for cooking

Optional: Chives, chilli powder, red pepper flakes, hot sauce, any other seasonings to your liking



1)In a large saucepan add oil and saute the onions until tender.

2) Add in the corn and beans sauting for 2-5 minutes.

3) Add in any spices and hot sauce, cooking for another minute.

4) Add in BBQ sauce.

Additional comments:


This is extrememly easy and goes together in less than 5 minutes.

Mexican canned corn would be extremely good here. I love this stuff and it takes care of my BBQ cravings. Goes great with almost anything you want.
