Oh! Aux Vivres has the best Thai bowls and an AMAZING BLT made with smoked coconut, on a fresh chapati. So so so good. La Faim du Monde on Saint-Denis always has tasty specials at a very affordable price and Chu Chai is a decadently delicious vegan Thai restaurant also on Saint-Denis. It's more expensive but so worth it.

Brought some friends to Aux Vivres, was good times all 'round.

Also, Crudessence. Managed to break some omni myths like, "I thought if I ate a vegan meal my poop would be see-through". -_-

I'm glad to say my omni friends liked all the vegan nom noms, and would gladly go again, with me or without me. As someone very wise said to me, "planting seeds".

If anyone in the Montreal area, or visiting soon, wants to eat at a vegan eatery, let me know. Vegan noms and good conversation are always a good time.

I went to Aux Vivres last time I was in Montreal. I was so excited, the waiter thought I was weird. It was my first vegan restaurant experience, I couldn't contain myself. The tofu burger was so-so, but apparently I ordered the most boring item I could. I had a piece of carrot cake and all my omni friends decided it was the best carrot cake in the history of carrot cake!

I'll be back in May and would love some recommendations!
